EYFS Reforms: The New Framework

Early Years is changing… are you ready?

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, a statutory document we must use in all early years settings, has been reformed and the new framework will become mandatory from September 2021.

In this course, I will take you through the changes that have been made to the framework, as well as the supporting non-statutory documents, ‘Development Matters 2021’ and ‘Birth to 5 Matters 2021’.

From changes to the content of both prime and specific areas, to the way we assess and safeguard the children in our care, I will highlight the reforms which you will need to take into account when preparing for the 2021/22 academic year.
